Skip McCarty was voted into the Yawkey League Board of Directors last night at the November Meeting of Members.   McCarty, nominated by Dan Chapman of the Brewers, would go up against John Moore of the Malden Bulldogs for the vacant Member at Large position formerly held by Dave Hanley of the Medford Maddogs.  McCarty would win the vote by a count of 9-2.  He immediately was welcomed into the Board of Directors by President Dave McKay. 

As the Member at Large, Skip will be a voting member of the Yawkey League Board of Directors on any/all issues that require a vote.  His initial duty will be to look into the Rules of the Yawkey Baseball League and revamp any necessary rules and bring them to the Board of Directors to be ratified.
